【摘要】:Thismethodusesdatafromultrasonicprobesloweredintoparallelaccessducts,orinasingleaccessduct,inthedeepfoundationelementtoassessthehomogeneityandintegrityofconcretebetweentheprobes.Thedataareusedtoconfirmadequateconcretequalityoridentifyzonesofpoorquality.Ifdefectsaredetected,thenfurtherinvestigationsshouldbemadebyexcavationorcoringtheconcreteasappropriate,orbyothertestingsuchasTestMethodD1143,D4945orD5882,andmeasurestakentoremediatethestructureifadefectisconfirmed.Note18212;Thequalityoftheresultproducedbythisstandardisdependentonthecompetenceofthepersonnelperformingit,andthesuitabilityoftheequipmentandfacilitiesused.AgenciesthatmeetthecriteriaofPracticeD3740aregenerallyconsideredcapableofcompetentandobjectivetestingandinspection.UsersofthisstandardarecautionedthatcompliancewithPracticeD3740doesnotinitselfassurereliableresults.Reliableresultsdependonmanyfactors;PracticeD3740providesameansofevaluatingsomeofthosefactors.1.1Thistestmethodcoversproceduresforcheckingthehomogeneityandintegrityofconcreteindeepfoundationsuchasboredpiles,drilledshafts,concretepilesoraugercastpiles.Thismethodcanalsobeextendedtodiaphragmwalls,barrettes,damsetc.Inthistestmethod,alltheabovewillbedesignatedx201C;deepfoundationelements.x201D;Thetestmeasuresthepropagationtimeandrelativeenergyofanultrasonicpulsebetweenparallelaccessducts(crosshole)orinasingletube(singlehole)installedinthedeepfoundationelement.Thismethodismostapplicablewhenperformedintubesthatareinstalledduringconstruction.1.2Similartechniqueswithdifferentexcitationsourcesexist,butthesetechniquesareoutsidethescopeofthistestmethod.1.3AllobservedandcalculatedvaluesshallconformtotheguidelinesforsignificantdigitsandroundingestablishedinPracticeD6026.1.3.1Themethodusedtospecifyhowdataarecollected,calculated,orrecordedinthisstandardisnotdirectlyrelatedtotheaccuracytowhichdatacanbeappliedindesignorotheruses,orboth.Howoneappliestheresultsobtainedusingthisstandardisbeyonditsscope.1.4Themethodusedtospecifyhowdataarecollected,calculated,orrecordedinthistestmethodisnotdirectlyrelatedtotheaccuracytowhichdatacanbeappliedindesignorotheruses,orboth.Howoneappliestheresultsobtainedusingthisstandardisbeyonditsscope.1.5Thisstandardprovidesminimumrequirementsforcrosshole(orsinglehole)testingofconcretedeepfoundationelements.Plans,specifications,provisions,orcombinationsthereofpreparedbyaqualifiedengineer,andapprovedbytheagencyrequiringthetest(s),mayprovideadditionalrequirementsandproceduresasneededtosatisfytheobjectivesofaparticulartestprogram.1.6Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthestandard.1.7ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.8Limitations8212;Properinstallationoftheaccessductsisessentialforeffectivetestingandinterpretation.Themethoddoesnotgivetheexacttypeofdefect(for......
