【摘要】:Thisdocumentestablishesaclassificationofsurfaceinsulationsforelectricalsteelsheet,stripandlaminationsaccordingtotheirgeneralcomposition,relativeinsulatingabilityandfunction.Thesesurfaceinsulationsareeitheroxidelayersorappliedcoatings.Thepurposeofthisclassificationistocreateanomenclatureforthevarioustypesofsurfaceinsulationsandtoassistusersofsurfaceinsulationsbyprovidinggeneralinformationaboutthechemicalnatureanduseofthesurfaceinsulations.Itisnottheintentofthisclassificationtospecifyinsulationrequirementsintermsofspecificvaluesofsurfaceinsulationresistance.Suchrequirementsaretobeagreedbetweenthepurchaserandthesteelproducer,whereapplicable.Theclassificationistobeusedinconjunctionwiththevariousspecificationsforcoldrolledelectricalsteels(seetheEuropeanStandardslistedinClause2).
