【摘要】:Thisdocument:?specifiesamethodologyforthemeasurementofdefinedprintqualityattributesofDigitalPostageMarksintheformoftwo-dimensionalbarcodesymbolsonmail-pieces,?definesmethodsforgradingtheresultsofthesemeasurementsandderivinganoverallsymbolqualitygradeasaguidetoestimatingthereadabilityoftheDigitalPostageMarks,?providesguidelinesforprintingandgivesinformationonpossiblecausesofdeviationfromhighgradestoassistusersintakingappropriatecorrectiveaction,?definesatestprocedurefortheassessmentofprintingsystemsfortheproductionofDigitalPostageMarks.TheseprovisionsapplytotheDigitalPostageMarkblocksastheyappearonfullyproducedmailitemswhenremittedtopostaloperators,includingthecharacteristicsresultingfromoperationsotherthanprintingpersethataffecttheirappearancetoamailprocessingsystem(covering,insertsintotransparentwindowenvelopes,affixedDigitalPostageMarklabels).Thisdocumentdoesnotdefinethequalificationtestsorsamplingrequirementsnecessarytodeterminethepracticalfeasibilityofanyspecificreadrate.
