【摘要】:Acompositionalanalysisoftheashincoalisoftenusefulinthetotaldescriptionofthequalityofthecoal.Knowledgeofashcompositionisalsousefulinpredictingthebehaviorofashesandslagsincombustionchambers.Utilizationoftheashby-productsofcoalcombustionsometimesdependsonthechemicalcompositionoftheash.Notethatthechemicalcompositionoflaboratory-preparedcoalashmaynotexactlyrepresentthecompositionofmineralmatterinthecoalorthecompositionofflyashandslagresultingfromcommercial-scaleburningofthecoal.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheanalysisofthecommonlydeterminedmajorandminorelementsincombustionresiduesfromcoalutilizationprocesses.Note1TestMethodsD1757orD5016shallbeusedfordeterminationofsulfur.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunits(IEEE/ASTMSI10)shalltoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
